  30. Bad news:  VERY expensive.  For Switcher, NLE, & 3d effects like they
  31. were showing at NAB you are talking at least $15k before drives and 
  32. computer! Not exactly aimed at the PVP market.

  34. Good news: VERY powerful and modular. So you can get the base unit
  35. with toaster like features for about $5K and add the other stuff later.

  40. Good news: VERY powerful 3d effects being demoed. 
  41. It basically has a plug in card with multiple processors that map
  42. and compress live video onto 3d shapes in REAL time with no aliasing.

  44. Bad news: powerful 3d effects card costs $7-8K
